Carol Blomstrand, CEO/Founder, Trumpet Social Media

As an innovative social marketing strategist, Carol has built her social marketing world from the ground up. As a pioneer and leader in Chicago's digital marketing industry from 2000 to 2010, during the digital revolution, she originated proprietary social media marketing models and programs as a strategist to malls, retail stores, and restaurants. In 2011 it became clear to her that digital marketers could operate from anywhere in the world, so she relocated to sunny Tucson, Arizona and formalized her social marketing work there by forming her own company, Trumpet Social Media.

Today she continues to create new-world social marketing models and campaigns for a wide range of companies and retailers. Offering her experience, insight, and current activity in the digital marketplace Carol develops new effective tactics for clients in the vast scope of social and e-commerce marketing.

She has built a strategic network of clients, partners, and a virtual team who interact with each other across a wide range of common connectivity in business solutions. Focused on developing results-oriented social marketing models that operate as revenue streams, she is also gifted in creating original quality content, conducting robust engagement programs, and developing strong brand building. One of her longtime clients and national consumer food grower, Todd Stanton of Stanton Orchards, came to her in 2019 and said he wanted to start selling on Amazon. She took the challenge, and is now an e-commerce coordinator, and marketing manager at Stanton Orchards to sell its in-demand health product, Tart Cherry Concentrate. Other clients have included Arizona Inn, Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort in Tucson; Visit Tucson; Community Foundation for Southern Arizona; Atrium Mall, Chicago; Wolf Management; FASTSIGNS of Tucson on Speedway, Lifestyle Hearing Solutions, Totally Tucson Enterprises, and many more.

Carol's professional background includes: Editor of Chicago Magazine, Commercial Real Estate Broker at CBRE and others for 20 years, Senior Editor at Chicago board of Trade for 3 years, Bank Marketing Executive for 5 years, and Retail Marketing Strategist for malls, retail stores and restaurants for 12 years.

Currently she is a business partner of Visit Tucson, served on its board for six years, anis a principal/partner at Lienhart Design, a branding, identity, and web design firm in Tucson. She is also on the consulting team at Wolf Management Consultants, a national CEO-consulting firm. She also heads up her own online brand apparel store, TotallyTucsonAZ.com

Carol is often called into business strategy meetings by companies that want a fresh look, with deeper meaningful solutions for today’s challenges, to lift and adapt their marketing strategies.
